In developing this beer, the Paulaner brewmasters have perfected a unique technique with “yeast suspension,” resulting in a uniform, slightly cloudy appearance, consistent quality, and perfect taste. Fizzy, mild with a delicate aroma of yeast.
Brewed with selected malts from barley and wheat, choice hops and is fermented with an especially cultured yeast. The origin dates back to 1589 and since then it has a distinctive place in the history of Hofbräuhaus München.
Its refreshing, bitter flavor and the alcohol content have made it famous worldwide. This is a bottom-fermented light “Münchner Bier” with character. This beer is the most famous of the products produced by Hofbräuhaus Munchen.
“Edelhell” has a slightly stronger original gravity and malty note that has earned it a strong following. It starts with a full-bodied yet smooth taste, then comes a slightly more bitter note that ends in a spicy finish.
